Yep you read it right, do i treat my fishy so bad that she tried to kill herself? I had left the room for one minute and realised it was Cheese and Simba’s (my two goldfish) feeding time, and when i checked there was only one in the bowl!! Stupidly my first thought….WHO WOULD STEAL MY FISH!!!
However, thanks to the help of my flatmate Dan, I thought logically and we checked everywhere that a fish could possibly jump to. Luckily my fish is alive and well. Why Simba would want to hide underneath my chest of drawers I have no idea! I mean, its obviously not because he can see EVERYTHING that goes on in my bedroom! Surely hes not that traumatised??

I am so glad your fish is okay. I had a chuckle as my fish did the same thing when I was young.
cheers

Clearly Simba was running away from the responsibilities inherent to his name. Hakuna Matata!
Oh no! I’m sure it was a little game your fish were playing and things only got carried away! Lessons learned I’m sure.

Maybe he’s also part lemming?
Glad the fish is alright. We had a murder in our house. The cat is the prime suspect!
LoL! My algae eating fish did the same thing to me when I was younger. However, I was in the room at the time and he jumped out at me! I was traumatized by the incident and have yet to buy another one them. *shakes head* Fish can be crazy sometimes!
Glad ya fish is ok

Ha! I didn’t realize fish had suicidal tendencies… homicidal ones, yes, but fish suicide? That’s a new one for sure
glad you found the little bugger and gave him/her an opportunity to try it again. There’s always Prozac – lol
We tried those African frogs in a fishtank a few times. Never made it more than a day or two.
Love your photography. I’m a big fan of architecture.
lol!! I’m glad your fish is okay and you found him just in time!
